Cathleen Tyson grew up around bands with her brother’s influence, Nick Tyson. She joined a band in high school, and toured with Airborne in Texas and Colorado. Cathleen recorded at Warhorse Studios in Lubbock with Holy Cats taking one song to Amarillo where Tim Winn produced a music video which was aired on the CBS affiliate. Continuing her education with marketing and media production, Cathleen studied voice at Amarillo College while participating in 4 performances with the Amarillo Opera. She performed backup at the Texas Music for Life Tunes for Tupin and Dark Side of the Moon events. Cathleen will be performing with Friends of Fogelberg Tribute concert and benefit for her fifth appearance in September 2016. Cathleen sings with Smokey City Rhythm Revue, joined with her brother, in Amarillo. Her career spans as an experienced web developer, social media manager, music promoter and graphic designer – Volunteer for Friends of Fogelberg, Downtown Women's Center, and Amarillo Advertising Federation. Clients: iTech, Cambio Media, Leadership Amarillo & Canyon. Employed at Panhandle Presort Services in Amarillo.
