ABOUT

I am former lead/ supporting vocalist of art-rock/indie/alternative band, Hot Jam Factory. I was with them for over 5 years, signed to a label and have toured.
I am very experienced and can bring a lot to the table. (I'm also pretty great at marketing)
My voice is very flexible, stylistically and pitch; so, jumping genres or octaves is not a problem.

If anyone is looking for a singer for hire, LOOK NO FURTHER, I'm your gal, I will write about my capabilities two paragraphs down.

Ideally, I'd like to join or create a band full of fun and creative individuals, who aren't afraid to get weird. When I say get weird, I think of the movie "Frank". If you haven't seen it, I would highly suggest it if you are an indie/alternative artist.

I don't care what genres we jump back and forth from, I just don't want our music to be traditionally perfect. I want it to be sometimes weird, raw, dark, a little fu*ked up and maybe even hard to follow. I want it to trigger our audience's anxieties, be powerful and strong, but I also want it to be beautiful because it's not perfect.
This may sound kind of confusing, but I'd be happy to send some examples of songs and artists for you to listen to. Most likely, I'll tell you to watch "Frank" and hope that you'll understand.

I would also like to put out there that I am also a singer for hire, if you're a band who does regular paid gigs such as weddings, etc.. - looking for a permanent or temporary female vocalist, don't be afraid to reach out to me! despite what I said above, I love singing the blues, jazz, oldies; my voice is best at those genres, but I am also willing to do whatever! I may have more of a grungy appearance, but I clean up really nicely.
Pay is obviously negotiable, so please, don't hesitate to contact me!

Now a little about myself for those interested..
I'm a goofy and fun loving person, sometimes introverted, but mostly outgoing, very weird, a little sarcastic, and very whitty.
I am creative and have my hands in all kinds of art forms, from music to photography, graphic design painting and hopefully soon, woodworking!
My ultimate goal, aside from having music be a main source of income, is to open a music venue. -But thats a long ways down the road.
