I am looking to form a band (guitarist, bass player, drums, and piano player). I do not have a name for myself or a band name as yet. The idea that I would like to create is a band with the image and likability of The Beatles, with a message like Bob Marley, John Lennon, Switchfoot, Michael Jackson, and have the sound of John Mayer, No Doubt, Phil Collins, Avril Lavigne, The Fray, Nirvana. I would like to create a positive rebellion for our times (not too hippie or to rebel rock). With all the garbage going on in our world, music always makes a difference, and influences people.I would like to evoke thought, and literally challenge the ideas that the majority call normal (Sort of what Bill Maher and George Carlin did in the world of comedy, and what John Lennon did in his time). I am real about this, and need to be surrounded with positive people that wants to make a change. I do not do drugs, nor would like to be associated with it (as this brings most bands potential down. Plus when you are singing against the system, you do not need risk involve or an excuse for them to lock you up. I will sing about love and everyday life as well, don't get me wrong, but I also want to influence a shift in our thought process for the new generation. I want to practice hard at least twice a week, begin performing after about a month or two, build a name(brand) for ourselves, and eventually do it big (for real).
