Been inactive for a long time, but am thinking about using the platform again. Live tracks are from gigs I played with my first band a few years ago. Other tracks are my original pieces that I composed but haven't recorded yet.

Looking to make a progressive metal band. Something like a mix of Dream Theater, Haken, Caligula's Horse, Symphony X, Nightwish, etc. Mostly clean vocals, lots of challenging metric stuff, and a spectrum of different sounds.

I'm a musician, not a metronome.
- Past experience with piano and clarinet, recently started learning guitar again, self taught drums for 5 years, and took a year of music theory in high school.
- Music (drumming primarily) is my passion and I want to take it all the way if at all possible
- My style on drums is generally heavy, but I can't blast if that's what you're looking for. I can back off for lighter work
- Dynamics are important to me
- Experience Tuvan throat singing

Band or no band, I intend to record and release music starting this year. As of early February, I settled on the name Calliope's Vengeance.
