Before you can get good, you have to simply get. I have piddled for years wanting to play music I like (originals and covers) with other like minded players.
Seems I always find those who really just want to gig and are trying to be something they can never achieve - a touring and recording star.
That is not me.
I want to play and create for the enjoyment it brings. If it happens to grow beyond me and my friends, then great. But it will NEVER happen if I cannot start out playing with other musicians. I have tried the home recording route with limited success.
The passing of Chris Squire renewed my hopes of being able to find this. If you want to play, get with me!

Influences
Chris Squire and Paul McCartney. Bands I enjoy are The Beatles, Yes, The Move, ELO and many of the creations from those family trees. My ear tends towards the melodic and progressive. I also like the idea of classic Moog sounds and actual string accompaniment.
