Electro-ambient soundtrack that was intended to be used in part (not in entirety) for a CGI cinematic scene for a sci-fi game called RaiderWars in the end of 1999. The scene begins with a squad of small spacecraft approaching the illuminated horizon of a large planet-like asteroid, then the music picks up with more intensity as enemy spacecraft appear over the horizon at the same moment as the sun (or actually some other star in some far off star system) and engagement is unavoidable.

Composed by Chaos Zen, mainly using a bassline synth and assortment of guitar FX pedals.

This track was also used as backing during a few live performances of the indrustrial/experimental noise group known as UPC in early 2000.

This is not an indication of present musical styles of play and offered as example of range and variety of genre addaptability.

Industrial Jazz-funk, heavy-FX, metal, neo-classical bass and more!

Project 1: I am wanting to set up a punk & industrial inspired group consisting of a drummer, guitarist or two, another bass (in addition to myself) and a female (optional) vocalist with some variety and/or range. Less conventional instruments also to be considered, I'd like to find a decent violinist with a taste for heavier music and industrial or punk music. Crossover genre and styles to consider would be punk, industrial, goth/death metal, experimental, digital/electronic (perhaps) and maybe even a small hint of jazz-swing and classical as well as some intros and interludes from world-traditional and folk inspiration. The end result of such musical-voodoo should not sound over-done or too complex, but rather like an industrial dark-wave sound with just an eerie hint of all of the above. Also welcoming any willing controlerists familiar with the works of Matt Moldover for both live and shop remixing.

I do studio work as a solo musician under the name of Chaos Zen but am helping a number of bands and music projects find much needed members with shared interests and creative mixing of influences and genre. I myself have musician experience in the areas of punk, thrash, alternative, metal, electronic, techno, industrial and neo-classical. If you do not have premium membership for contact, you can find me as chaoszen on the F-book (include a message on any add requests, I ignore random invites and no message looks like random). I'm also looking for open-minded people who might be interested in some punk, industrial and experimental music jams/projects.
