Charenton is the main musical project of Michel de Sade, existing in its current form since August 2009 and mainly incorporating electro-industrial and heavy metal styles. Taking it's name from the Charenton insane asylum that was home to the infamous Marquis de Sade, the band draws inspiration from all things dark and macabre.
