Hello (: Im 24 years old and am currently recording my EP with an amazing local SD producer. I'm so fu*king excited to finally begin finding some other musicians to be able to do what I love, which is creating original music, singing and performing. I have actually been professionally employed in the entertainment industry as an actress, singer and dancer since the age of 7. At the age of 12 I signed a deal to represent the number one children's music brand for a 3 year contract term. I was on a ton of commercials and videos featured on Disney and Nickelodeon. I was also featured with my real name and likeness as a character in several children's books pertaining to the brand, my picture on over 40 toys and products sold at major retailers and ultimately went on tour throughout the US for 2 years. I was also in a girl group from the age of 11 to 15 where I was 1 of 3 girls that sang pop and danced. Our group ended up doing really well and through that experience I have been able to establish some pretty cool contacts with others in this industry as we played over 100 live shows throughout Southern California. We were meeting with labels and there was also a TV pilot in production for a TV show about our girl group. To make a super long story short, we ended up dissolving the girl group because we lost one of the members as she was also an actress and she booked a TV show and also I was out of town for extended periods of time on tour so it got to be really hard to continue to rehearse and play shows. Anyways, Im so thankful for all of my experiences because now I know without a doubt that this is what I want to do with my life. My music is my everything and I want to get out there on the grind and play shows and go on tour again someday SOON. My original music is definitely more edgy indie alternative and I am looking for some fellow musicians to play shows between the ages of 18 to 25 that are talented, serious and committed, edgy but not flaky, have confidence but are still down to earth and are able to compromise and value the other band members opinions. Since I had a pretty good career going at a young age I didn't get to go to regular school and had a private studio teacher and actually graduated high school 2 years early so even though Im younger I feel I am very mature for my age....but dont get me wrong, Im still young and like to party and get fu*king crazy too! lol.

Influences

I am super well rounded with what I have been brought up listening to. My father is a musician and was in a punk band and also a metal band so Ive been around edgy music since I was tiny. My mom was a ballerina and so I listened to a lot of classical music and opera too. Since my parents were children of the 80's, I was also raised on alternative music like The Cure and I probably know every 80's band out there. I also absolutely love and listen to rap, pop and R&B so i can honestly say that I have way too many influences to list :)

I do have basic skills playing an acoustic guitar and keyboard. Its just barely enough so I can accompany myself singing but Im definitely wanting to get more proficient at both of those instruments.
