I've been playing guitar for along time and you certainly wouldn't know it from listening. I learned to play to accompany myself when I sing. My idea situation is to find a guitar player to accompany me while I sing and they play in a quiet venue such as a wine bar.

Classic Rock, Country, 1960s 1970s Rock, Eagles, Don Henley, Merle Haggard, Steve Warner, Jimmy Buffet, Marty Robbins, Mark Knopfler, Neil Young, Bonney Raitt... 3 Doors Down, Rainbow, any band with a great sound or singer. Basically I like any song that makes me feel "it" when I hear it played.(I cant explain it, but when i sing the song I can almost hear the harmony in my head and it feels good...literally)
