LUCKY Smoothstone is the front man and composer of the Smoothstone's music. He is a creative genius, a recording and performing artist, and producer. He plays four different instruments and sings lead and background vocals on his recordings. Blended with a little Lenny Kravitz, and accented with John Lennon , Stevie Wonder, Chaka Kahn, and a bit of Michael Jackson Afro Pfunk is the style. The original Smoothstone sound and spiritual flavor appeals to a wide range of listeners of all ages and cultures. Since coming together in June of 2011, the Smoothstones began sharing their unique sound primarily in Colorado Springs. They've played at Sunshine Studios and Stargazer's Theater for a music video shoot, opened for the citywide "Imagination Celebration" downtown, and appeared at Pikes Peak Performing Arts Center’s Studio Bee on September 2011. They have filmed a live concert video that is now uploaded on be for viewing pleasure. Lucky was signed with Producer Leon Haywood in Los Angela's launching his professional carrier in to a pool of record companies mangers and producers. The control that Hollywood wanted over his music and life. Was not something Mr Smoothstone thought was ideal for his art or his life. Lucky Smoothstone declined Hollywood and decided to create record and perform independently.
