Rhythm Guitar, Drums.

ABOUT

Right now I'm involved with a startup band. We are doing all original material in the classic rock/southern rock genre. We are looking for a drummer. We have over two hours worth of material hammered out, and more in the wings.

We are pretty good as a 3 piece, but a rhythm guitar would help.

EQUIPMENT

I have 2 Ibanez guitars, I love the Wizard necks. One is an old RG 470 I have played the crap out of, the other Ibanez is a mahogany body double humbucker that screams SG tones. Also have an SG, it's a slide rig right now. And my fave is a Classic Player 60's Strat. I love that thing! Super strat clean tones and a 12" radius. It's amazing.

My primary amp is a Mesa Boogie Studio .22 that is incredible. I have had this thing for many years, done a lot of gigs with it, been to the studio with it, and it is perfect for my playing styles. Which is clean picking, mild to heavy classic rock rhythm, and searing leads when the time comes.

Have a small PA in my practice room, there is an electric drum kit in there too. Mic's to go around. Have plenty of PA gear for gigs. I have a 3/4 ton truck and a covered trailer to boot.

We all have great gear. We all have been in bands and done a lot of gigs. We are pretty damn good at what we do. But in all honesty the rhythm player we need would have a pretty easy job. So experience isn't an absolute must, just be good enough to barre chord, and be a good learner. We can make do there.

Myself and my good friend and bassist are the composers, and we both pretty much sing the songs we have written mostly because we know where the damn words go, and NOT because either of us have convinced ourselves we are great vocalists! But we get by.
