Influences
I listen to almost all types of music except for soulless pop music. I grew up with classic rock: Zep, Beatles, Stones, Rush, yada, yada, yada you've heard it before. It was punk and new wave in high school: Black Flag, Husker Du, Sugar, Jawbox, Talking Heads, Devo, etc. I found 50's R&R/Motown later in life. Only in the past few years have I gotten into country. I always liked Cash & Hank but only knew their hits. Now I'm a fan of Ernest Tubb, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, Buck Owens and the guys keeping that sound alive - Dwight Yoakam, Hank III, Wayne "The Train" Hancock, etc.
