Acoustic Guitar, Other Percussion, Harmonica.

I am looking for an experienced acoustic guitar player who likes country and southern rock music. You will need to be able to transpose songs with ease and can learn new music quickly. Occasionally, I will throw in some of yesterday's and today's pop hits. For now, this is an acoustic duo (1 vocalist and 1 guitar player). I book gigs in the greater Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Baymeadows, Mandarin, Julington Creek, Fernandina, St. Augustine and Crescent City areas. Occasionally, there are gigs booked in Georgia. I need someone who can commit to performing 2 to 3 nights/days per week. Gig times vary from 1pm - 5pm, 6pm - 10pm, 7pm - 11pm, 8pm - 11pm, and 9pm - 1am Wednesday through Sunday. This is a paid position. For all booked gigs the pay will be divided equally including tips. Unfortunately, there is no pay for practice times. You will be investing in yourself as well as the duo to earn higher paying gigs. Everyone has to have a little skin in the game. If you can sing that is a huge plus but not a mandatory requirement. I have all of the necessary sound equipment for the band to use. If you are NOT PASSIONATE about music, CAN'T play a 3 to 4 hour set without taking numerous long breaks, not flexible, hate the genres of music listed above, and NOT willing to learn at least 1 to 2 new songs weekly, bi-weekly or monthly to keep the band fresh and relevant to our listeners, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME! However, if you LIKE what you have read and think this is something you can commit to then LET'S GET STARTED! Give me a call or respond to this posting ASAP!
