ABOUT

My name is Charlotte Morris and I’m a New York based singer-songwriter and musician. I’ve been playing music since I was 4 years old, starting with classical violin. Over the years I have picked up a variety of instruments including guitar, piano, and ukulele.

I have toured the country as a solo artist, as well as part of a band playing with folk legends Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey (both of Peter, Paul and Mary), George Grove (of The Kingston Trio) and Tom Chapin. I am also a professional actor, and have appeared and played my instruments in theatrical productions from NYC to Oregon.

I have now released 1 EP and 4 separate singles as an independent artist. These songs have been added to numerous Spotify playlists and accrued tens of thousands of streams on the major streaming platforms. I work with Mitch Dane, a producer in Nashville, to find my unique folk/pop sound with influences of country, rock and musical theatre.

I perform gigs solo (just me and my guitar) as well as with a full band (anywhere from 1 to 4 other people). My sets often include a few folk covers mixed in with my originals. When requested, I can perform sets fully of covers.
