Just moved to Nashville a couple months ago on a whim from the Gulf coast of Florida. I work from home and I've always loved music city, so here I am.
I'm a young guy (26) looking to start forming connections in the Nashville music scene. My primary genres are rock (50s to 80s ish), some Country, and a bit of modern stuff as well. Not too big into metal, or anything too pop-y.
I like to say "I'm a singer that plays guitar" rather than vice versa. I'm a decent rhythm guitarist with solid gear. I think I have decent range as a singer, and love a good harmony.
I do have experience playing live venues and playing in full bands in FL, but of course Nashville is a totally different beast. Certainly need to get some staples nailed down to even play anywhere with a decent crowd here. That said, I'm eager to learn, and I think if the fit is right, I have what it takes to contribute well to a group, duo, trio, etc.
I am certainly open to acoustic stuff as well.
For now, looking to connect with some likeminded people to jam, and we'll see where it goes!
