Joey and I have been playing together since we were 15. This is about the 4th incarnation of the Murf, we added Shawn about a month ago and decided to get more serious. In the past, we've done the whole coffeshop scene acoustically but now we're ready to get a little louder.

EQUIPMENT
Joey plays a Godin (some model they don't make anymore, I don't recall) and a Martin J-15 (a J, not a D) plugged into some offbrand tube amp half-stack he swears by. I play a Taylor 310 w/ a lawrence soundhole pickup through a Behringer ACX1000 and also a Schecter S-1. Shawn just purchased a huge DW kit w/ triggers, mics, etc. Also I own a set of cheap CBs. Joey just picked up a USB interface for his mac and we can do a little multi-tracking--have been cutting rough demos on our own for several years. Spending money on gear is not an issue in this band.
