Drums, Other Percussion, Other.

I'm a utility player at heart and I've played more shows than I can count. I love to sing and have been told that I have a unique heavy grunge sound with soft undertones. I've been in numerous bands playing all types of instruments from bass to drums to rhythm guitar to lead and backup vocals. I literally love, appreciate, and respect ALL forms of music.

My goal is very simple, to record, tour, write, compose, or do anything related to music with other musicians and influence the world in a positive way. I'm always involved in some kind of project and would love to join/lead you and your style whether it be rock, country, metal, pop, alternative, or any genre for that matter. I'm currently looking for a solid drummer actually for my very own personal project. I'm open to anything and everything of course.

I've done a ton of studio work. I'm at my best with drums and vocals as far as that goes. I never went to school or received any lessons EVER from anybody by choice. I say this proudly because I'm as natural as they come and have the abilities to prove it. I'm truly open-minded and would expect the same from my bandmates/studio musicians. So if you need any studio work, I'm fairly cheap and will give you 100% focus and attention to detail. We can always negotiate price :)

I take music very seriously but I'm a complete goofball who knows how to have fun. I love variety and don't think we should be limited to just one genre. Let the music speak. Lastly, I'm wanting to dip my hands in everything I can. I'm not going to do just one thing. I love trying new things and would encourage you to do the same. I'm committed of course but would love to venture out and challenge myself musically any way I can. NO EGO here. I know I'm not the best but I claim confidence in my skills and talents.

I assure you that I can project virtually any style/feeling you're looking for. Simple as can be or heavy and technical if called for. The songs you hear are ALL me. Yes I did every single instrument and vocals EXCEPT "Let The Men Stand Up" That was a side project my brother and I were working on. I played drums and did BGVs to it. I wish I had more time and money to perfect these songs but that was not a luxury I could afford literally. Like what ya hear? email me at chavezband at g-m-a-i-l

I'm also a registered singer/songwriter through BMI so, for the professionals out there, you're safe :) I also love to act and have done tons of voice overs for locals around here. Last thing, I am not a premier member so I can't send messages but I provided all my information one paragraph up. I'd love to hear from ya! Have a great day!
