Drums-6 years (Drumset and drumline, 2 years in Open/World Class WGI). Jazz Studies (Drumset) Major for 1 year at VCU. Can play just about any genre but prefer funk, rock, jazz, blues, hip hop, rnb/soul, etc.
Guitar (current primary inst.)- 2 years, specialize in lead, but can play some rhythm stuff. Prefer blues, funk, soul, rock, etc.
Prefer to play by feel/ear in most cases. Can read music (esp. rhythms/drum music) but prefer to play guitar more improvisationally, and prefer playing with musicians who feel the same.
