ABOUT

Chaz Charles is an American musician and songwriter. He was the main songwriter and guitarist of the rock band Bad Influence, which he co-founded in 1985 in New Jersey with high-school friends guitarist Dan Serpico, drummers John "Jack" Cleary and Fred Ciabatoni. From there, he went on to form a series of bands and has developed a body of work that spans over 35 years of playing with musicians all over the world. He moved to Colorado in the late 90's and has been primarily writing ever since. Post-pandemic saw a strong desire to be out and playing with others again, so he most recently was a member of local 80's cover band Star Shadow, performing in and around Denver and Fort Collins.

Covers are fun, but many years of playing other people's music, writing and recording and support work have led to a desire to collaborate with other local Fort Collins musicians interested in expressing their own original ideas and helping me articulate my vision as well.

I've got guitars and lots of motivation to play, and I'm looking for others to create exciting music, fun times and smiles.

Looking to make musical experiences that move people, not to impress other musicians.
