I’m in a band that does covers of 60s-90s rock/blues/reggae tunes. We’re based in Gaithersburg, MD and we’re looking for a drummer. We currently have 2 guitarists and a bassist. We tend to practice on the weekends and do gigs during the spring/summer/early fall.
More about me: I’ve been playing music since I started piano lessons when I was 5. I started playing cello when I was 8, and played in middle and high school orchestras. I taught myself guitar starting when I was 15, and that has become my main instrument. I’ve also started playing bass and doing some vocals.
My favorite genre of music to listen to and play is classic rock and blues. My favorite guitarist and musician is George Harrison. My rock performer heroes are Pete Townshend and Dave Grohl. In addition to classic rock, I also love 90s/00s hard rock (Green Day, Nirvana, Foo Fighters). I’m ultimately down with anything that has fun riffs, great melodies, and exciting dynamic changes.

I’m pretty traditional with my equipment. I tend to like analog stuff and don’t tend to go crazy with loops and multi-effects, although the other guitarist in our band does that more and it sounds great! So I’m by no means opposed to it. It’s just not what I personally do.
My electric guitars: Gretsch Duo Jet & ‘61 Gibson SG Standard reissue
My acoustic guitar: Martin
Bass guitar: Fender P-bass
Ukuleles: I have 2. I don’t remember the brands, but I think they’re fairly decent.
I also have a keyboard. It has a few settings (regular piano, organ, strings, etc.).
Finally, I have a cello from when I played as a kid.
My amps: 1967 Princeton Reverb; Boss Katana; Orange bass amp
My pedals: standard board with overdrive, fuzz, CryBaby wah, and EQ
