Chelsie Sorensen studied Music and has been classically trained in Albany, Georgia at Darton State College. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee in December of 2013 to pursue her career in the music industry. Chelsie sang her first solo at 7 years of age and has been singing ever since. Being president and section leader of Show Choir, she got an opportunity to sing for the high school Jazz Band. It was soon after this that the Director of Darton's Jazz Band saw her video at random and called her to offer her a scholarship to sing for his band. Chelsie has now been performing with them for 3 years and has received many opportunities in the community by being a part of the group. Chelsie has also won competitions; such as, Darton Star and WXTX X Factor. After winning Darton Star, she was able to open up for American Idol contestant Bo Bice before she passed her title down. The X factor competition lander her the opportunity to be flown to Rhode Island where she advanced in two rounds. When she returned home from this, she began teaching Voice Lessons. Chelsie has been working with students for over a year now and encourages all ages to get involved with progression of their talent. She has worked with Phillip Phillip's band that played with him on his homecoming performance, but later began acoustic shows with Cullen Edwards. Chelsie has advanced in two rounds of The Voice and will continue trying for these shows. In Nashville, Chelsie plans to focus purely on writing more of her own music and getting shows to continue in her love for music! For now, she still plans to perform in different venues, for weddings, or parties anywhere she is wanted.
