Chemical Mass is a five piece, original hard rock group from Jefferson City, Missouri. Members include: Steve Walters (vocals), Tom Troesser (guitar), James (Jim) Perkins (guitar), Brad Toebben (bass), and Lucas Schroer (drums).
Formed in 2014, a group of Mid-Missouri musicians from separate local bands, came together in succession with TOOL and KARNIVOOL like influences. Four years, three member changes, and several songs such as: "Denial", “Nibiru”, "Beyond What You Know”, and “Secrets and Lies". In 2018, Chemical Mass joined forces with producer Jason Schrick and JPS Productions. They stepped into the studio to record their next single, “Tempted” with engineer Ian Eddy at Kevlar Soul Records. Tempted was released in late December of the same year and is now available on most digital media sites.
