I have been singing from the time I was able to talk when my mom had me next to the piano. I have been in several bands and went on the road with one when I was 19. I have also recorded my original songs in a couple different studios, one in MN. and the other in Omaha.
I have been out of the music scene for a few years due to some health issues but I'm ready to get back into it. I'm looking to hook up with someone who would like to use their creative side and work with me on originals and do some lounge acts. I'm not looking to be back into a band at this point. I like to do the lounge acts because they seem more up and personal where your originals work more along with the cover tunes.
I lean toward Country music but can do pretty much any music from, Folk, Classic Rock, Celtic, R&B, and so on. I'm not stuck into one style. I have a soft voice, I'M NOT A POWER SINGER! But I can also carry myself and do pretty good at harmony.

Pat Benatar, Olivia Newten John, Juice Newton, Heart, Carrie Underwood, Mirana Lambart, Reba, Within Tempation, Evenance, Loreena McKeenit, Kelly Clarkson, BarlowGirl. And so many more. I would also like to say some friend like Phil King who believed in me and took me into his studio and MN. and started me recording and who has been one of my very best friends. Lurene who was my teacher and took me under her wing and really showed me what I could do with my voice. Craig With Thumpin Hard Records in Omaha who also always believed in me who took me in to his studio and recorded me and stood by my side, he is also one of my very best friends. Jami Conn who was my singing partner in my band CherriJam, we went through alot together but she always stood by my side and we were awsome as a duet, I miss those days. Papa John who was also in CherriJam and who I also did a lounge act with which was called Reminese. He has been a challenge at times but he has always been honest and I respect him for that, he is also one of my very best friend. Last but not least Kim Porter another Duet I was doing about a year ago called Embraced, we were a Contemporary Christian group. Kim has been a true friend and insparation, an uplift when I felt I couldn't go on, I am so Thankful and Blessed to have her as a friend!

Simple Iowa Girl
Simple Iowa Girl Track number: 1 Year: 2003 Genre: Other
This was a song I wrote with and accustic guitar my parents got me for Christmas. I didn't know how to play it it just learned a few chords and came up with the lyrics and a melody. I took it to a friend of mine who played piano and played my two chord song and sang it and here came the song. My friend Phil in MN. brought some of his recording equipment up and we recorded it right there in my friend LuRenes house it was awesome and alot of fun.

This song was also written on my accustic guitar on two chords. I took it to my friend Craig in Omaha at Thumpin Hard Studio feeling kind of stupid because he is so talented but never once did he treat me any differnt then any other musician and we worked together on everything you hear. It was alot of hard work but alot of fun. The back ground vocals was done by LuRene which I came up with for her to sing. She is also a very talented musician. I have learned alot from the both of them.
