ABOUT

We are looking for a guitar player or two and perhaps keys. Our additions must complement our strong bass and drum pocket and add flare to periods of lyrical silence. It would be great if you have a strong harmonic aptitude for background vox and/or perhaps take on a lead song or two. Our goal is to get a strong group and a solid covers play list and to land a couple of standing monthly gigs. We are interested in some originals to sprinkle in too.

Influences

We like a wide variety of music and are not a one-genre band. Genres include 90s pop, blues, classic rock, and alternative rock. We like metal too, but haven't taken the step of having a chick singer (me) for that genre other than considering Halestorm options. You can help build the play list.

Members Of Band

I am here on bandmix as kellysings1234 and I have some tracks uploaded so you may hear me anyway. Also, I have some of our songs on a list in my pics. Our bass, Robert plays bass, rhythm, keys, and trumpet but we need a more versatile group to take advantage of his multiple talents. Gregg is great on drums and has lots of gig experience. We also have an experienced live sound production guy and Gregg and Robert have skills in that area too. We will upload tracks here when we get some solid songs with a guitar player or two. We have day jobs, so practice is on evenings and weekends. We will send out a set list before practice, so please plan on being familiar with the songs before we get together.

As for you, you don't have to be studio musician stock to play with us, but please be able to learn quickly, count/keep time, maintain chord progressions throughout songs, jam for fun, and put in some effort outside of rehearsals, especially at the beginning.

EQUIPMENT

We practice twice a week in the drummer's basement in Westerville. It's a very cool dedicated studio practice space. And they brew really great beer! We have mics, amps, speakers, guitars, drums, mixers in a rack, headsets, etc.
