Band to Join, Vocalist, Vocalist - Soprano, Background Singer.

Cheryl hails from a musical family and environment. This Chicago native shares a family tree with Roger Troutman, Zapp Troutman and Peabo Bryson. As a teenager singing with a local group, The Pleasures, she opted to become a dancer. She also worked for EBONY Fashion Fair as Executive Secretary to Mrs. Eunice W. Johnson. When she wasn’t traveling around the globe with Mrs. Johnson she was rehearsing, dancing and sharing the stage with other Chicagoans such as: The Chi-Lites, The EMOTIONS, Earth-Wind & Fire and Chaka Khan. Soon after moving to California in 1987, Cheryl hung up her dancing shoes and again grabbed her microphone. In California she’s performed with Rory Seldon & Innersession, Special Blend, 2Plus2, Reflexions, Billy Foster, Donto James (Etta's son}, Thelma Houston, Tierra and many more. Currently she sings with RewYnd and RewYnd BGV (Background Vocals), and RewYnd S.I.S. (Sisters in Song), doing background vocals for studio sessions, The Jimmy Sterling Experience, Garland Green, and others.
