I'm a 54 year old male who has been learning guitar for over three years now.
I have come a long way in a few years. I feel like I can “survive in a jam situation once I know the key and chords. I’m coming along but I know the next step in my progress has to be meeting and playing with other musicians.
I don’t have a lot of interest in doing covers. I want to jam and write. I love rock, blues, funk, neo-soul and some light jazz. I’m open to ideas and suggestions. I’m retired and have time to devote. I already play several hours a day but by myself. I’m ready to take another step up!
I want to see what I can create with others and just have fun.
I would love to put a band together. Let’s create some spacey, blues, psychedelic music that people can vibe out to.
I feel the clock ticking. I dedicated myself to this way too late but I want to try and create something I’m passionate and proud of before my time here is done.
