I've played all kinds of stuff, but in the last five years I've gotten deep into jazz. I'm competent at solos and trading fours, but I like to support what is going on musically and make the soloists and/or vocalists sound great. Improvising on the spot is no problem. I can show up to a gig and play most standards, or lesser known tunes if I get a song list before. Available for fill-in gigs (tell you're drummer not to worry, if I take a fill-in I'm not going to steal his gig). I'm an easy going guy who shows up at rehearsal ready to play (practice is what I do at home), and I get along best musically with others who show up ready to play. I SPECIALIZE IN BEING ABLE TO PLAY QUIETLY.
