Derrick Norton is an experienced professional Musician/Producer that specializes musical Performance and Technology. Derrick Has been playing the drums for 21 years starting at the age of 8 in church. Throughout the 21 years, he has gained experience in all types of percussions whether it’s a drum set or an individual drum. In High School, Derrick played both trumpet and percussions as a creative and performing arts major and received city wide honors of Marching, Concert, and jazz band throughout all four years. For the past 10 years Derrick has been performing professionally on drums. Toured with 2 gospel artists Renewed Disciples and Mark Collier as well as performed with others recording gospel artists such as Earnest Pugh, Tasha Cobbs, Shana Wilson, Dottie Peoples, and Zacardi Cortez.
