I am a bassist/frontman,and for years I have been running a tight band doing interesting covers. I like to take good songs that don't get enough attention and do arrangements that have a unique flavor. Most are well known, some are more "deep cuts". Pretenders, Bowie, Patti Smith, Foo Fighters, Stereo 360, Tom Petty, Midnight Oil, The Strangeloves, Turbonegro are among the artists on the last set list. I am currently re-building the band, The goal for this project is to do event-based shows, and get out of the bar scene. I have contacts and an opportunity to get bookings at major outdoor venues in the Boston area as an opener or a headliner. When the new personnel are ready, we will do a promo video, which I will fund, and work with my contacts. There is a website in place - triple w dot charmingbastardsband dotcom.
