Hi, my name is Chris Leyland. I studied at Berklee College of Music and have been playing guitar/writing music for over 14 years. I am 28 years old and have been in a band for most of my musical career but i am currently giving guitar lessons. The music I am currently writing is mainly a blend of Classic/Modern Rock/Alternative/Blues/Jazz and Pop. I am currently looking for musicians who have a strong passion and dedication to music. Preferably with some experience playing live and a knowledge of theory and being able to read music and chord charts would be a plus, but not a necessity. I am looking for like minded musicians who are creative and really want to play original music. I don't want to just form a cover band and play a few originals here and there, been there done that. I have a home studio that doubles for a rehearsal space. I am also a producer/engineer so I can take care of the demos/cds and so forth. I would like to form either a 4 or 5 piece band consisting of a drums, bass, guitar, vocals and keys if it were to be a 5 piece. Please contact me if you are interested in getting together to jam. Also, I am always looking for vocalist to do some session work for my new cd (I can sing but it is not my main focus).
