I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter from Southern California. Playing for more than 30 years, I have worked with numerous musicians primarily in the Los Angeles and Las Vegas areas. My guitar playing style leans towards rock and blues music but has strong influences in jazz phrasing. I'm also a GIT graduate (Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood); which gave me invaluable influence and learning experiences from some of the finest musicians in the industry. I joined the cover band Relish in January 2006 and I enjoy the versatility and talent of this top-notch dance band.

Influences
I grew up listening to the Beatles and in my teens I discovered Queen, Heart, Styx, Boston, and all the great bands from the 70s and 80s. My influences then were Brian May, Steve Lukather, Neil Geraldo, etc. Attending GIT I discovered great players like Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, and those who stretched blues out to a progressive era. I'm still very influenced by these players who push the limits of blues, jazz, and rock.

EQUIPMENT
I use a few guitars including guitars made by Jack Briggs (Saturn Deluxe), Music Man (LUKE I and III), Fender (Stratocaster), Gadow (Nashville), and a Gibson Les Paul Antique Classic. My latest guitar is a custom Telecast by Rocco Guitars out of Nashville. My pickup preferences are Lollar Mini Humbuckers, Suhr Single Coils, Tom Anderson P-90s, Dimarzio Area Ts, Porter Classic Tele's, and EMG 85s and SAs. For amplifiers I prefer that “American” Fender style tone and I have always leaned towards “Dumble” clones such as Bown Note D’Lite and Fuchs ODS amplifiers. Today I play through a wonderful Red Plate Open Range. I also uses numerous pedal effects including the Ethos Overdrive, AC Booster, and BB Preamp from Xotic, a Keeley Compressor, GNI Analog Chorus, and a Hermida Zen Drive as well as an Eventide Delay and Boss Vibrato. I recently added a Hermida Dover Drive and Kensley Jester to my pedal board.
