Born and raised in Oregon, Chris is now a music teacher, recording artist, and session musician in the Los Angeles area. He is a classically trained cellist, pianist, and vocalist, and also plays guitar professionally. His ensemble experiences include the Arizona State University Symphonies, Oregon State University Orchestra, chamber music ensembles, avant-garde/experimental jazz settings, being a sideman for independent artists, and leading numerous pop-rock groups.
Aside from studying music in college, he holds a Bachelors in Science in Public Health Management and Policy from Oregon State University. He also speaks Japanese, testament to his multi-facetedness and adaptability, bringing value to any creative task at hand.
