Rather than having specific genres, I'd say I've been more influenced by what was great within most genres. Rock/Pop/Singer-Songwriters (pearl jam, billy joel, elton john, muse, aerosmith, zeppelin, daughtry, david cook, eagles...), instrumental (pat metheny, al di meola, satriani, animals as leaders, greg howe, chick corea...), adult contemporary/pop/r&b (celene dion, genesis, maxwell, d'angelo...), classical (baroque like vivaldi mostly, but all...), progressive rock and metal (dream theater, pain of salvation, enchant), metal (metallica, pantera, linkin park, killswitch engage...), trancepsybient (ott, carbon based lifeforms), ...many more

EQUIPMENT
Over the years I've owned 50+ guitars and tons of amps. I flipped PRS's for years when they were getting popular, and had everything from original 65' fenders to nearly all the boogies ever made.
I'm down to basics because I do a lot of bar/restaurant/wedding cover gigs: a Greco 78' les paul, avid 4 rack (amp/recording interface), tons of pedals (my 'go to pedals' are tc nova delay, chorus/flange, ditto looper, wah), a 50th anniversary Crafter rosewood acoustic, mackie PA system, meinl cajon with percussion extras, ibanez bass, yamaha piano, korg microkorg, novation synth...and more
