If its scream, its gotta be clear and understandable, I like doing stuff that has both singing and some screaming for emphasis, I also enjoy a slightly punk influence, especially when it comes to that slight edginess lyrically when it calls for an action, I'm more into metal in general, but it's the heavy-ness that I'm reaching for not necessarily the sound, ex. Linkin park's early stuff was heavy but still had harmonies and breakdowns etc.

Influences

Anything gritty with some melody and some dissonance, some sing and some scream, with heavy guitar and drums, and most of the time, I mean like 99% of the time, distortion or overdrive of some sort, I dont need a billion effects, just some distortion and I'm good to go. The lyrics are by far the most important part though if you ask me. The lyrics have to mean something, not just be verbal puke points to fill in the gaps.
