Encounter Church in Westwood, MA, is seeking a skilled drummer and keyboard player whose passion for music is superseded only by your passion for your Christian faith. We are looking for someone who can consistently lead drums/keys for our Sunday morning worship services, attend rehearsals, and work in a team environment. We perform songs from the modern Christian worship movement (Elevation, Hillsong, Bethel, Passion, etc.)
Skills Required:
• Previous experience in a band
• Able to read music or chord charts
• Able to learn and use digital tools for coordination and communication (i.e., Google Apps, Planning Center, ProPresenter 7, creating or using stems/loops, etc.)
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
Expectations:
• To lead themselves and the music team to grow in excellence.
• To travel to the church building at 18 southwest park, Westwood, MA 02090 roughly 2 to 4 Sundays a month to be a part of run-through and services.
• To consistently show up prepared and on time.
