I'm an aspiring jazz guitarist looking to leave the practice room and try playing jazz standards with others. I'm not looking for anything serious, I just want to improve my ability and have some fun at this point, although playing for others in the future isn't out of the question.
Although I'm at an early intermediate level at jazz guitar, I played lead guitar in a classic rock cover band at bars, weddings, special events, etc. for many years. And I played the trumpet in the high school jazz band a couple decades ago.
I'm mostly available on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.
