Remember when ?? If your like me and grew up right here in Chicago or the surrounding burbs,then you grew up with some great music and musical influences...Back in the day,there were a few good bands that found success such as REO,STYX,SURVIVOR,CHEAP TRICK,CHICAGO,but there were so many more that were great bands in their own right such as Head East,Off Broadway ,The Kind,The Boyzz/The Bzzz, and so many others that all have one common thread. They are all bands from Illinois,and I would like to form a new band with players that are all from Illinois and cover the music from these great bands..I have a lot of ideas as far as bands and songs but welcome any other input from interested players.. If you are a native of Illinois and may be interested in this type of music project,then I would like to hear from you...About me..young 60ish,long haired rocker,plays drums,background vocals,can sing a couple of lead vocals on the right songs. I'm looking for guitars lead,rhythm,and bass ,keys/guitar,lead singer/vocals frontman...Background vocals are always a plus for all... Tons of influences... I've played everything from Classic to Metal,Country to Blues,Latin Groove and even some Disco...Not so much on the hip hop or rap sorry,not my forte...
