ABOUT

Looking to jam and have fun locally with the possibility for local/ regional fun gigs. I mainly prefer to play music generally between 1985-2000 and post 2000 bands that were heavily influenced by the 85-2000 era. I like punk, metal, progressive, 80s/90s rock, post punk, post hardcore, nu metal, college radio, alternative, grundge, etc...

Would join an existing all original band if they are established, have a following, and gigs lined up. Otherwise, would love to play in a tribute band, or generic cover band focusing on an era. For the cover/tribute type bands, once gigs start to happen I am down with writing some originals to throw into the mix.

I want to be in a band that has a great vocalist. If all the other musicians are excellent, but the singer is just "OK", or worse just not good, the whole band is not good. The vocalist must be excellent. I've been in a few bands where the vocalist has not invested financially into their craft. Most musicians spend thousands of dollars on their gear and to get to a high level of proficiency. Some vocalist think they can just show up with no gear or training. I want to be around people that are serious about what they do.

I have a practice space in Harpers Ferry WV (close to Winchester Va, Frederick Md, and Leesburg Va) and prefer to practice there.
