Well, I taught myself how to play bass while addicted to Leftover Crack and Sublime, so my first every style was Ska... I really like hardcore music so I also started teaching myself that. I then taught myself how to play bluegrass/folk style bass...
I was in a Hardcore band for about 7 or 8 months playing bass. I was then in a classic rock band, then a Folk/Indie band. I currently jam with a bluegrassy group, very not serious.
EQUIPMENT
2 Electric Basses, a stand-up bass, and a bass amp.
