ABOUT

I am a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in voice performance and am a past member of
the both the May Festival Chorus and the Vocal Arts Ensemble. I have performed as a soloist with
the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, both as a singer and narrator. Another highlight was singing
Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America” during the seventh inning stretch at the 4th of July Reds games
in both 2007 and 2008. In addition to voice, I also studied composition with Conrad Cummings at
Oberlin and arranged works for the celebrated chamber ensemble, eighth blackbird. A long time
church musician, I am currently a paid music leader at Highland United Methodist Church in Fort
Thomas. I have recorded as a session musician as a singer, keyboardist and percussionist in styles ranging from rock to bluegrass to classical to Latin. I am well-versed in multiple genres and am of Cuban descent.
