Recently moved from Europe to St. Augustine and am currently getting settled and looking for musicians to play or jam with. I am very open to genres and styles and have messed around with blues, folk, singer-songwriter, black metal, post-rock, psychedelic rock, hip-hop and cover songs. I do home studio recordings as well and write my own songs and material.
I am fairly experienced on a stage, having played guitar through 15 years in a variety of projects/bands. For the past 3 years I have also been singing.
I want to start a band or join one and have a few ideas:
- A duo (drum/guitar) or trio (drum/guitar/bass) going for an original, minimalistic raw expression in the vein of early The Black Keys or The White Stripes with clear cut songs possibly with additional focus on the experimental/jamming element.
- A group based on acoustic instruments, percussion, guitars, banjos, mandolins, violins etc. Folk, americana, roots and the likes.
- A group founded in for instance psychedelic rock, post-rock, ambient, indie, improv or elements from these.
I have a broad taste and love to explore and learn new styles and am not afraid to try something completely different.
Depending on the project and the possibilities, I might be willing to practice and gig more than 1 time per week (even though that is my listed specification).
If you have an idea for a musical project and we are close to each other, don't hesitate to contact me and we can take it from there.
Hit me up - I would love to play!
