The Talk:
I play guitar and drums (bass, latin/world percussion and a little piano too). I have a very good ear, good gear, chops, harmony/rhythmic concepts, musical manners and language for instrumental conversations, and a day job that allows me to focus on making music happen and not worry about having to make a living out of it.

Influences

My music voice is a mix of my early roots (Rush, Zeppelin, Van Halen, etc.) with the harmonic, melodic, groove and rhythmic richness from music I mostly been listening over the last 20 years (Funk, Jazz, Fusion, Prog, World, etc.) and a touch of my Latin heritage influence. What I listen too: Weather report, Miles, Chick Corea, Bill Bruford and all the musician that played with these guys, and heavily into: Brian Blade's Fellowship, Chris Potter's Underground, Antonio Sanchez's Migration, Kendrick Scott's Oracle, Joshua Redman's Elastic Band, Nik Bartsch's Ronin, Eric Harland, some of the .abstractlogix label dudes, most of the cats in the "Icons among us" documentary, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Soulive, Vijay Iyer, Kneebody, Tigran Hamasyan, etc. Add a pinch of Gentle Giant, Genesis, King Crimson and a yearly fix of Dream Theater.
