ABOUT

Novice at best as far as professional gigs go, but I have been a singer my entire life. Raised by musicians, dated musicians, haven't gone a day in my life without singing since I learned how to talk, you get the idea. Just got my sh*t together enough to get over stage fright and put myself out there. Have played a few acoustic gigs doing backups and a few solos. A few acoustic gigs with a drummer. Looking for like-minded, preferably alcohol-free musicians, but drinkers aren't a deal breaker, I just want people who take it seriously and don't get sloppy drunk during gigs. Forty years old, just getting into the game and I don't want to waste any time. I am looking for a band who commits to playing shows on a semi-regular basis and can't live a day without music in their lives.

Influences

This question is SO HARD, my tastes can vary depending on the day and my mood. A few of my all time favorites are Fiona Apple, Pink Floyd, Tool, Metallica, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Motley Crue, Blink 182, Arcade Fire, NIN, Deftones, Slipknot, The Killers, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Meg Myers, Lady Gaga (specifically like to sing from A Star is Born Soundtrack or Joann album), The Cranberries, Garbage, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Adele, Regina Spektor, Joan Jett, recently been getting into Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, Watkins Family Hour, even some Taylor Swift & if that makes you mad, don't even come at me. Some of my favorites to karaoke were You Outta Know by Alanis Morisette, Cherry Bomb by The Runaways, Call Me When You're Sober by Evanescence, Add it Up by The Violent Femmes...really I like a little bit of everything unless it's like pop country...just ask, I can probably learn it. Picking 4 genres is impossible….
