I'm hosting online and live auditions, and since Post Traumatic Empathy is genre-fluid, combining with specific rock/metal genres/sub-genres, it's now known as Alternative Crossover Metal. BDSM/LGBTIQQA friendly, and the usual main genres/sub-genres are Hard Rock, Metal, Nu-Metal, Punk, Queercore, Post Hardcore, Post Grunge, Grunge, GrungeGoth, Gothic Rock/Metal, Industrial, Electronica-Dubstep Rock, Rap/Rock-Metal, Pop Punk, Goth Pop, Death Metal, Metalcore, Melodic Death Metal and Symphonic Rock/Metal, thus inspiring the new genre name: Alternative Crossover Metal.

As for the genres/sub-genres for my solo project, they are as followed: Singer Songwriter, Alternative, Gothic, Crossover, Riot Grrl Rock, Acoustic Rock, Post Grunge, Goth-Pop, Queercore and Alternative Singer-Songwriter.

I also have my own recording studio, and I have a friend who has a recording studio in Colorado Springs as well that I occasionally I go to for extra additional work on the songs, lyrical content, instrumentals, etc., and I'm now currently looking around for local recording studios to add as an third studio to go to for recording, extra production assistance, etc., and the two that I've considered so far are: Evergroove Studios and CCM Recordings, both very affordable, so if you pass auditions and join the band(s) full-time, I expect you to pay equally for all fees, studio times, etc., with me, so we'll all split the costs evenly.

All online auditions must be sent via e-mail with attached MP3 copies of your best original and cover songs (two covers and two originals), a letter to be typed in either Word Document or written and scanned to attach to your email to me in several paragraphs or more containing your musical abilities/talents, what got you into music (short bio), a photo attachment of yourself so I know who I'm talking to, and if possible, a MP4 file of your performance (live, studio, open mic performance, etc.) attached to the email, and a brief paragraph of why you wish to join my project(s), and end it with accessible contact information to be informed whether you're approved or rejected.

All live auditions (for those in the area and/or able to travel) will be held at various venues at various dates, and auditions ends on December 2014 or January 2015, depending if we've found the musicians we seek. I'm currently recording my new album with hired studio musicians at a local Colorado studio facility, as well at my friend's studio and my own studio, but release date is TBD - so, therefore, you still got a chance to join up and be able to record the new album(s) for both projects with me.

All genders/ages welcome, from 18 and up (even old people still fit and healthy can rock out with me). For more details, email me for further information as aforementioned in this post or contact my band managers directly at dysfunctionalstudioscolorado for more on dates, venues, etc.

Blessed Be,
Christina Autumn Taylor.

Christina Taylor Biography:

In the last 17 years since starting out at the young age of 8, with her very first of many instruments which she would have then mastered years later, Christina Autumn Taylor set out to write music and lyrics that is entirely of her original creative wordplay, thus allowing her to express herself fully with her personal experiences, her thoughts and her feelings, covering all topics and issues while never running out of things to say.

Since having fallen from grace in 2009, thus invoking herself into a 5-year hiatus, Christina has been struggling to find herself in music again. She had just left her broken home years ago, traveling the world with just a few bags and her two guitars, traveled all throughout the United States on a Greyhound bus just to end up in Colorado, where she then re-discovered herself, got back on her feet and starting writing songs again. It took some doing and some soul searching, but Christina has truly found herself once again. The hell she’s endured to become who she is today was no easy feat; her music pretty much speaks for herself and her experiences she’s lived through. Domestic violence, rape, transgender hate crimes, human trafficking, family violence, etc. – she was once victimized by such horrifying traumatic experiences, but in the end, it only made her stronger.

Her songwriting process is twisted, somewhat Schizophrenic yet brutal and unaffected by the mainstream, which corrupts their listeners nowadays with lies and hypocritical superficiality. Her lyrics comes from the heart, unafraid to speak her mind on just about anything, which might land the eccentric Transgender Goddess a spot as Corey Taylor's successor as the Next Great Big Mouth. Her vocals are something to behold when she's creating music to go with the brutally honest lyrics she has written over the years. Her grungy, howling-like screams, her somewhat sorrowful and extreme combinations of melodic harmonic vocals and the instruments accompanying her vocals and lyrical content in her solo project is something that’s very rare, but indeed worthy to challenge her hatred for the mainstream/corporate music industry by showing her support and her love for the independent/underground music industry via displaying such intensely raw and beautiful music that’s not often played or heard of nowadays, with all the music being produced by really sh*tty so-called “musical artists”.

Looking up to all her musical heroes/bands she grew up listening to, she has branched out into tapping her inner self and using her inspirations/muses to create something completely original and yet so nakedly open and raw. She is not afraid to use her voice to the fullest capacity and push her musical/lyrical creativity limits further and further and take revenge on the music industry with her self-proclaimed nickname, the "Princess of Lyrical Vendettas" and dominate the Independent Music industry with her intricate and beautiful music, holding nothing back.

To see that kind of talent, that kind of raw yet unbridled honesty, to experience her music with all 5 senses, it’s just not enough. She wants to truly assault all 5 senses, including your “sixth sense” and your darkest senses, and give you the key to escape your own impaired reality and embrace true reality, raw truths and open your eyes and minds to something much more bigger than this. Empathy was never dead to begin with; it was just in hiding, waiting for the perfect time in this day and age to really make an impact. Being a former client of Larkin Street Youth Services, an survivor of many sufferings/tragedies/crimes, etc., and helping others with her music and other ventures she partake in often, she's one of the most down to earth and truly compassionate human beings to be ever so humble in a world that doesn't care, a world so cold that she herself almost lost her life in many years ago, she has survived it all and became one of the greatest independent/underground singer-songwriters that's about to make a huge impact on the world and show the world that she can and will do anything she sets her heart, mind, soul (and sometimes body) to in the most empathetic yet sadomasochistic ways possible to make the world a better place to live in.

Being an singer-songwriter/musician/recording artist for this venture, her solo project, she’s now in progress of releasing a new solo album with this venture, whilst working with a full-time band in her main project, Post Traumatic Empathy, on a new debut album as well, being the Owner/CEO, etc. of her own independent record label, Dysfunctional Studios, and her careers as a photographer/filmmaker, actress/model, writer/poet/journalist/author, painting/drawing artist and an activist of sorts in many communities from the Deaf/Disabled community to the LGBT/BDSM community and beyond, all whilst she’s donating her spare time to charities/fundraising events as well being an activist for several grassroots organizations and being an humanitarian/Riot Grrl Feminist, she’s always a busy woman, never running out of ideas, never running out of compassionate empathy, thus rekindling her faith and hope in humanity. We look forward to hearing what she will share with the world very soon when the solo album from this current solo venture and the debut album from her other band releases to the masses and begin the long-lost Bohemian Revolution once again.
