ABOUT

Grew up in a musical family, mostly bluegrass. Started playing drums in 4th grade, Pearl Jam's album "Ten" helped. Started bass in 7th grade, thanks RHCP for "Blood Sugar Sex Magick". Started guitar in 9th grade, thanks everything from hendrix to oasis to smashing pumpkins to STP to...just all of everything. I was in concert band from 6th grade to 9th grade, then switched to Chorus for vocal training. Played in local bands (local to northeastern KY) for 4 or 5 years after high school. Gigged all over the tristate area. Recorded 2 albums with these bands, and released them to minimal fanfare. Took some time off to make some money from a day job, and
write / record some stuff, hone my skills a bit. Wouldn't you know it, Roger Waters said it best "...and then one day you'll find, 10 years have got behind". Except in my case it's been almost 20, and I don't think I've honed a damn thing. lol! Let's jam! I want to make this a full time income!

Influences

Music from all eras and genres. No lie. The Rat Pack to Ghost's "Rats", to Ratt. Pink Floyd to Pink. Jamiroquai to Judas Priest. Ozzy to Elvis Costello. Seriously, I love it all, so long as it's not modern pop country. I'm currently working up covers of "Layla", "Black", "Blow up the Outside World", and would LOVE to do "Heard it Through the Grapevine" (Marvin Gaye, not the raisins).
