I started playing instruments at the age of 13 just for fun until the age of 20 (summer of 2007) then I began to take it and writing a lot more seriously. I primarily write music and do not spend much or any time learning covers. My friend & I started a band about 5-6 years ago that we wrote the songs for, I wrote all instrumentals for the band, and we played out in Schenectady and Albany at several coffee shops and other venues like Valentine's, The Bayou (now The Hollow) and Red Square.

Influences
Post-Rock music in general, more specifically, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros. A lot of Scottish bands such as (Mogwai), Frightened Rabbit, The Twilight Sad, We Were Promised Jetpacks, and others. Other bands along the lines of Band of Horses, The National, Sufjan Stevens, etc.
