ABOUT

Hi there! I'm a vocalist/songwriter/guitarist, and I'm hoping to meet some folks in the Providence area to develop a new project together. I would describe the target sound as a vocal harmony-driven acoustic alternative / alt rock with occasional prog (e.g., odd meter) and world music (e.g., Middle Eastern, klezmer) elements.

MULTI-INSTRUMENTALISTS/VOCALISTS
I'd love to connect with folks who play any (or some combination) of the following instruments: bass, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, (lead) guitar (or really any other solo instruments). The songs have tons of space for a lead instrumentalist to get creative and really leave their mark. And because many of the songs feature multi-part vocal harmonies, I'm really hoping to meet folks who enjoy singing, too!

DRUMMER/PERCUSSIONIST
I'd also love to find a drummer who enjoys world music, occasional odd meter / odd time signatures, abrupt dynamic / tempo changes, and experimenting with different textures. Having an interest in/ability to incorporate electronic elements, samples etc would be fantastic, too! Again, an interest in singing would be wonderful, too!

At this point, I'm just looking for some like-minded folks to have fun making music together. I'm in my mid-30s (with a family, full-time job, etc), so my immediate goals are pretty modest - I'd like to write and record, work toward playing some local shows, and then just see where things lead from there.
