Bass Guitar.ABOUT
Dust on the Radio is a band from Los Angeles that plays alt/classic/modern/punk rock - or something like that. We're looking for a bass player who will enjoy writing, performing and recording with this band as much as we do. We just finished recording an EP, "Start the Revolution Without Me". We have an excellent producer and engineer ready to help us record our first album. We play out in Los Angeles about once a month or so and have enough of a following to do weekend gigs at excellent clubs. Join the fun.

the Greatest Day
the Greatest Day Track number: 1 Year: 2011 Album: Start the Revolution Without Me Genre: Alternative
I said, “Hey! Where ya going?” She said, “Hey. I don’t know where.” She said, “There’s nowhere I need to be. Until I go to work around 3” “That’s 3 in the morning, right? That means you’ve got all night with me. Hee hee Sitting in your passenger seat I just want to go where you’re going And stay up until dawn I never want to go home Until yesterday Was the greatest day Yesterday Was the greatest day I said “where you work these days?” She said “At that burger place. The late night drive in draws the freaks.” I said, “Careful, you’re in mixed company.” I just want to go where you’re going And stay up until dawn I never want to go home Until yesterday Was the greatest day Yesterday Was the greatest day What if you don’t show up? Say you were hit by a truck It’s not like they’re gonna put out an APB Let’s drive across the border and we’ll see 60 bucks won’t get us past Our 2nd tank of gas But sleeping underneath the stars is free Until tomorrow so are we Yesterday Was the greatest day Yesterday was the greatest day

Know Too Much
Know Too Much Track number: 2 Year: 2011 Album: Start the Revolution Without Me Genre: Alternative
I saw a copy of your love letters Your ex-girl friend let me read them We should put them in a museum I think people would pay to see ‘em Know you're hurtin’ but you'll feel much better I know share your weakness Mischievous smile and sweetness Love to help you, but she’s with me now I’ve got to go Getting the feeling I know Too much about you Met her in the produce section Her cart had a squeaky wheel Is this fruit hard to peel? I’m not sure, let me feel She’s the object of my affection Mornings, evenings and weekends We’re not together, strictly speaking Please be quiet, she’s still sleeping I’ve got to go Getting the feeling I know Too much about you Now I know Too much about you Your name doesn’t come up often It’s weird that you used to live there Get her drunk and get her talking You’ll find out that she still cares Now I know Too much about you

Closer to the Sun
Closer to the Sun Track number: 5 Year: 2011 Album: Start the Revolution Without Me Genre: Alternative
Take what the world has given And be grateful and savor Life is just for the living And love for the faithful Don’t you think the time has come To stop leaving life undone? Floating down the river Feel the sun’s radiation Spinning with no direction But for love’s destination Don’t you think the time has come To stop leaving life undone? And let the water take you Closer to the (water take you) Closer to the ( water take you) Closer to the sun Gazing at the horizon To see where time will take us Love is a cloud formation And your sky is amazing Don’t you think the time has come To stop leaving life undone? And let the water take you Closer to the (water take you) Closer to the ( water take you) Closer to the sun

Truck
Truck Track number: 3 Year: 2011 Album: Start the Revolution Without Me Genre: Alternative
She drives a truck and with any luck she’ll get paid About a thousand bucks to haul some stuff Across the state She took the high road as far as it goes She took the high road all the way With a heavy load She drives a truck, but she got stuck in the sand She’s in a rut but she won’t give up She’s got a plan She took the high road as far as it goes She took the high road all the way She took the high road as far as we know But she got lost along the way It's getting dark and it's raining hard, but she's driving, driving driving And her brakes are shot and it's running hot, but she's driving, driving, driving, yeah! driving, driving, driving
