ABOUT

Although I played a solo acoustic show for many years, my first love is bass; it is in my soul and I enjoy being a part of the rhythm section that drives the music. I do sing some lead and backups.

EQUIPMENT

I play a Spector bass through an Orange OB1-500 bass head with two (separate) Orange OCB-115 bass cabinets (one used for small venues). My equipment is fairly new and meticulously maintained.

I do have some JBL PA gear with a small soundcraft uI-16 digital mixer, and I use a Shure Beta 58 for a vocal microphone.

I have been a pro stagehand most of my life, when I got off the tour busses in 1989 I started my own production company in Virginia Beach, Va., where I stayed in business providing sound and lighting equipment to various venues, festivals etc. until I sold the company on 2016 to a long time staff member. During my life I played with several different bands, the last band I was in was a ten piece band (with three piece horn section) that only played once or maybe twice a month. That was a blast, and I was with them from 2004-2015.

Now I am retired from full time work and would love to find some open minded musicians that haven't lost their passion and aren't afraid to explore or try something different.....to stand out.....
