ABOUT

Experienced Drummer; for performance and studio. Looking for musicians Lead/Pedal Steel, Rhythm, Bass, Keyboards (organ & piano); to play in the styles of Clapton (post Cream), Little Feat, Grateful Dead,The Band, Stones, Commander Cody, Albert Lee,Ry Cooder, Dave Edmunds, and various other Country Rock, Blues, R&B genres.

I have played this kind of music from NY, LA, Austin, & Dallas. Every area it was played over the course of 30 years it was well received. As mentioned, this style draws from a lot of styles; blues, country, R&B, even some bluegrass. Some of the artists would include Clapton (Derek & the Dominoes, and after), Little Feat, Grateful Dead, The Band, Stones, Dire Straits, Buritto Brothers (and anything else that Chris Hillman has done), Commander Cody, New Riders, PPL, Joe Cocker, Jackson Browne (his version of Take It Easy is superior to the Eagles'), Allman Brothers, etc.

This would not be a tribute band of any sort, but I do believe this music is a good blueprint for experienced musicians with similar interest to draw from, stretch out a bit, perform, have some fun, and of course make some money.

I believe it also sets an opportunity to develop a very tight rhythm section to back other artists that may need studio level players for commercials or live performance. If you find this concept interesting, I can be reached at 850-837-0331.
